Hey everyone, I just wanted to stop through and discuss“Your Goliath“.

What is your “Goliath” you may ask..

Well, as I told you earlier I’m working on my goals list so that I can focus all my energy on my “Final Quarter”.. or the Final 60 days of the year. I came across a few areas in my life where I have not had a breakthrough.. I consider these areas my “Goliath“.

So take a moment and begin to write out the areas where you feel that you are not getting a breakthrough in your life and/or business. In business you may consider your Goliath to be your ability to recruit or your ability to retail, getting investment seed, having the time for your business.. go ahead write them all down. See the first way to break through or Take out your Goliath is to write it down.. know what you are aiming at… If you know the story of David and goliath then you know that David had to take a few steps prior to killing goliath. First he had to pick his five stones, then he had to pick up his sling. Then he had to have faith and became fearless to even stand up to Goliath.

You can do the same thing..

Determine your goliath.

Choose the weapon to conquer goliath. Build up your faith and become fearless and begin to attack your goliath. Honestly I’m attacking three goliaths right now..smile. Remember that everything you need to succeed is within you.. sometimes we need to streamline our focus so that we can achieve the breakthrough. What better time then now to begin the process.

Today I decided to share with you a side to business that many do not discuss out loud, the tithe.. yeah I said it..

The Tithe…

Now, it is Monday.. Columbus day.. a holiday for some, a work day for others. Remember I told you I was going to become more transparent with you, so here it goes…smile

I’m a believer of Jesus Christ. I believe that He died on the cross for my sins.. and that the only reason why I stand here today able to live the life I live is because my God loved me so much that He sent His only Son to save my soul. I am loved and trusted by my Father in Heaven. I strive every day to walk in that light with which He has blessed me.

Now my belief flows through every aspect of my life. Especially my finances. I’m a loyal tither in the church. Now some of you reading this post may not understand what that means. Let me explain. The Holy Bible states in Malachi 3:10 “Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, so that there may be food in My house, and test Me now in this,” says the Lord of hosts, “if I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you a blessing until it overflows.”

Now the tithe is 10% of your gross income..not the net.

So every time I receive a check in my business I give 10% of that income to my place of worship. (I worship at Living Worship in Decatur, GA and I would love to worship with you some time if you are in the area.) Now let me tell you what always intrigued me about this verse. Many people find excuses not to believe.. well no where else in the Word of God does He give us permission to “test Him”. I found this exciting when I was saved.. because my faith was small. I decided to test Him. Let me tell you.. I have NEVER been let down. My house has and is well provided for. I can only give the glory to God.

Faith is a serious thing. In spiritual beliefs as well as in business. You have to have faith in yourself to succeed. You must press forward toward the thing you can not see in the palm of your hands. You have to believe that what you are working toward will come to pass. Which is why mindset is so important in finding success. I ask you.. How much faith do you have that your business will succeed?? And how far does that faith last?? What do I mean.. well, the minute something goes wrong… Ie. Your lights are getting ready to get disconnected because you paid your autoship for your business instead of paying the bill. When this happens do you give up on your business?? There will ALWAYS be something trying to stop you from reaching your business goals. You must make a decision not to STOP.. Keep pushing.. Find a way.. What do I do?? Well, as I mentioned my beliefs before… I pray. I release it all to My Father in Heaven.. and He has NEVER let me down.. now sometimes I really do not want to do what He ask of me.. yet I do it anyways.. and every time I am better for it.. smile.

Now back to the tithe.

 I tithe because the Holy Bible states that it protects the income I have already generated, because I’m not stealing from God. Malachi 3:8 “Will a man rob God? Yet you are robbing Me! But you say, ‘How have we robbed You?’ In tithes and offerings.” Has it ever seemed like money was slipping through your fingers and you can’t figure out why. Well, this used to be my life story prior to my life of tithing. If you find this is happening to you.. I challenge you to tithe for 6 months and watch things turn around.. Now the offering covers what’s to come.. yet that is another post in itself..smile. Now you may say, I do not belong to a church. That does not matter.. you can mail the tithe. Many that read my post have at one time or another belong to a church or your parents belonged to one.. so send it back there.. Once you have released the funds, the tithe is paid.

If you believe that you are not finding the success you desire in your finances or that every time you find success it dwindles swiftly.. then try tithing.. I mean most of us out here in the world of business ownership are willing to try just about anything.. why not try this… especially if it can become the one thing that changes EVERYTHING.

Hey Everyone, I’m getting ready to hit this blog hard with my

“Final Quarter” thoughts!

If you are new to my blog.. you are really just getting to know me.. if you have been here a while.. you are still just getting to know me.. I have spent a lot of time on the internet.. yet I haven’t really opened up about who I am.. I spoke with a Business Partner the other day and we both agreed that we can become more transparent on the internet.. let you guys know what really goes on in the life of a Network Marketer.. smile. So I figured I would start right now during this final quarter.  I’m really into Football.. and I tell you the final quarter of the game is usually the best.. unless it’s a total blow-out!.. lol..

Well.. guys it’s the final quarter of the year..

WHAT ARE YOU DOING??

Well let me tell you what I’m doing. I’m busting my butt.. lol..smile.. Many people slack off at the end of the year.. especially due to the holiday seasons. This time of the year is the best time of year to step it up in my business.. Where do I start?? At the drawing board.. pulling out my goals.. again.. looking through them. Figuring out which ones I’m pushing to complete by December 31, 2010. I’m so excited right now.. the atmosphere is changing in my life. I’m further then I was 6 months ago, and I love entering the final quarter better off than when I started. When you take time to right down your goals.. and then you ACTUALLY go back and read through them and see the successes that you have made.. it is PRICELESS.. Try it.. you will shock yourself as to how much you have actually completed.. Success is right around the bend in the road… yet you have to make sure you are on the right road.. and you do that by writing down your goals. Take some time today and write them down..

Guys this is the Final Quarter of the year.. it’s time to either play or go home..
